Everyone has their own favourite season, and luckily (I think?) for us, London definitely has all four. Sometimes in one day…

Check our the pictures below to help you decide which season to visit London.

Winter

We are lucky in Britain that we are kept cosy by the North Atlantic Ocean. But that’s a really cold sea right? Well yes, if you swim in it, but there is a warm sea drift that comes over from the Caribbean that stops Britain freezing up. That being said, we do get our fair share of cold days, but it also means that snow doesn’t happen all too often in the city of London!

Spring

With bursts of pinks, whites, and purple, there is never a prettier time to visit London. If it’s hot weather you are looking for, this isn’t your time to come. However, if you are looking for fresh, dewy mornings, (some) sunny days, and an exciting vibe, this is a moment you will enjoy.

Summer

Also known as ‘the season every Londoner waits for’. Whoever says it only ever rains in London, is a liar! Okay so we don’t have the best weather, but let me tell you, there is nothing like London on a sunny day. Seriously, it’s as though every single Londoner gets the memo to go to the pub or the park, all the houses suddenly become empty! So grab the picnic basket and get yourself an ice lolly, Summer has arrived!

Autumn

Also known as ‘Fall’ to our pals across the Pond, Autumn is a season of change and crispy colours. With lots of green spaces and parks, this is a beautiful time in London.

Well that’s it folks. All four seasons summed up in a snapshot. I could go on.. and on.. but I’ll stop there and let you make your mind up on what is your favourite time of the year.
